Hi! My Name Is Digo

Hi, my 74 year old mother has a beloved elderly dog (11 years old, named Digo) that was a rescue from a shelter back in 2013. My mother has cared for him lovingly for 9 years. He's a small shih-tzu / maltese mix (we think) who has no health problems, no aggression, and otherwise a peaceful and well adjusted doggie. My mother suffered a heart attack in Feb 2020 and then diagnosed with breast cancer in October 2021 (we are happy to provide proof). Given my mother is working on recovery, she has been having difficulty taking care of her dog. We've been doing research for senior dog sanctuaries across the country and landed on Connor and Millies. Do you know how we might learn more about C&M? We are prioritizing sanctuaries that specialize in elderly dogs, and are prepared to donate as well. We are focused on providing Digo a happy home where he can get care and exercise, which has been difficult to do for my mother. Thank you!
