Zoe

Hi! My Name Is Zoe

Zoe is adorable! She was found 2/13/2023 near Blue Diamond, Diamond Dr. Her information and picture are posted on PawBoost, and flyers were distributed. No chip. No tags. No one has claimed her. Vet estimates age to be around 3. Not spayed. Zoe is house-trained; goes to back door, or comes to you and lets you know she has to go out. She sleeps in her crate all night, without interruption. Comes when called. Her disposition is very sweet and loving around females; loves to cuddle and have her belly rubbed. But, she will not let my husband approach her, without cowering, whimpering and growling. She has snapped at him, also. My husband is very kind and patient with her, yet she is terrified of him. It definitely appears she has suffered abuse at the hands of a male. She displays none of these behavior around me, or other women, that I have observed. She does display separation anxiety, possibly due to the fact she was abandoned.
This little one is adorable, and so deserving of a second chance. I feel confident she would blossom in a loving and kind home, with no males. I hate to think of her being placed in a shelter, with her anxiety and fear of males. Chances are treat, she would not be adopted, due to her anxious behavior. Yet, given a chance she will be a loyal and loving companion.
