Anita Rita is a 10-year-old Chihuahua and weighs 6 1/2 pounds. She is blind in her left eye with some vision in the right eye believed to be a defect from birth. Miss Anita Rita is a very friendly sweet independent bright totally lovable little lady. She needs a bit of time to adjust to new surroundings until she gets the lay of the land. Likes being around other dogs her size and being social while riding in her stroller, outside adventures, very good in the car/traveling. Anita is potty trained, and loves a good meal with a treat. Anita Rita is a spunky little sweetheart who enjoys being held and would make a wonderful companion.

This rescue is named after two very special dogs that I was blessed to have in my life. That the universe found me to be worthy of such a gift is forever humbling. This rescue is their legacy. It is based on Connor and Millie's sheer tenacity and determination to survive; their desire to love, be loved, and the ability to forgive.
