Frankie is an 11yr old, 9.8lb mini dachshund. He is a happy and loving little guy, who loves to go after the toys you toss at him. Shy at first and when he warms up, he will follow you everywhere when not planted in your lap, receiving all the love and pets you can give. He loves his ladies and will be a bit barky with men and strangers, until he gets to know them. Frankie should be the only animal in the home and is protective of his people and his palace. Older children would be a better match than younger tots. He takes his seizure meds twice a day without incident due to his previous abuse, and has not had a seizure in 7yrs. He’s a bit nervous during car rides, walks on the leash perfectly, and is learning his commands. He is potty trained, doesn’t care for the crate, and is happiest when not left alone for an extended time. Frankie will be a great addition to a mellow loving home.
