Penelope is very shy and timid when introduced to new people and situations. Once she becomes comfortable and realizes she's in a safe, loving space... shazam! You've got a new best friend! She wants ALL your attention and affection - hugs, kisses and cuddles galore. She is playful and gets along with other dogs. We've been told cats and kids are no problem and when it's time for bed, hope you don't mind sharing your pillow.
Penelope is doing great on her crate training. Due to past experience, Penelope is learning the crate doesn't have to be a scary place. Otherwise, she is well behaved in the house and has learned to use the doggy door.
Penelope is imperfectly perfect and will make a splendid companion. Children 12 and older.
