Valentino the vegabond is a reserved gentleman, with soulful eyes and a gorgeous coat. He wanders the house and yard doing “drive-bys” while on the go. Although he walks with a stiff gait, he occasionally bursts into a gallop from one end to the other like a spry pup. He stops to eat or appease his curiosities. Then he sleeps like a rock… usually behind the couch, so he has a bed there too.
Valentino does not seek attention and is not used to being handled. He frequently has a fight or flight reaction. He will submit to gentle pets and his ears rubbed. He will submit once being held. He will not cuddle. He will not get on or stay on furniture. Giving him meds is a special feat. Valentino requires patience and TLC and is 100% worth it. He was saved at the last minute and looks forward to spending every last minute in the home he so deserves.
